Hello! I'm new here.

Can I use the GA code in a Free Wordpress site? I don't find the "Editor" to paste the code in my WP-Admin.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Natasha,

In the past, users have adapted various methods of adding Google Analytics to WordPress.com (non-business plan) sites, using a mapped domain with Cloudflare + Google Analytics enabled. While this is a proven solution for adding the tracking code, it requires using a custom domain with WordPress.com, as well as the ability to follow a few technical instructions.

Read those articles in order to find additional information:

2. https://www.cloudflare.com/apps/google_analytics/

At this time, there is no easy way to add Google Analytics to the wordpress.com website.
Couldn't find a better solution, hope that it helps. Smiley Happy

Hi, Natasha,

I believe you could either try this support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/google-analytics/, or you will need to do this through a WP plugin.

I'm sure others in this community and provide guidance.

Thanks, Nick,
I tried with the plugins for GA, but I don't have the Business Plan, so I'm not allowed to add them.

Bye!

Hi Taavi,

Thanks for the solution! By the way, I possibly have to pay, 'cause I don't have the technical abilities right now... Maybe the domain or the Business Plan.
Bye!
