Traffic in Google Analytics Falls by 99% for Edge, Other Browsers Fine

Traffic that is reported in Google Analytics has fallen off for Edge (2500 daily sessions from edge vanished), whereas other browsers are doing just fine. Is there a known issue? Used the GA debugger extension with no problems reported. I am able to view the website just fine when I test in Edge.

Full disclosure: website had DNS issue that impacted 20% of its traffic but that was resolved a week ago.

Microsoft corrected the issue over the weekend and Edge traffic is now back.

Hi John,

I haven't seen the same.  Were any new filters added to your views that may be excluding this traffic?

Best,

No filters were added, we even have one profile that is completely unfiltered and it is seeing the same thing.

Google is currently escalating to their 2nd Tier testing team. I'll keep you posted. I would recommend checking your Analytics browser report!

I don't think it is corrected. I see zero traffic in GA Realtime from Edge browser. Literally, zero, nada!
