Hello ALL,

Suppose I have two site a.com and b.com

Now users come to my a.com site and then for reservation/booking they visit to b.com and completed their transaction there on b.com and never returns to a.com.

If i want to see the full user journey, the source/medium sending the visits,is cross domain tracking is the only option?

If there is other option please reply.

Thanks

one option can be:

use same tracking code, property on both domains.

modify the "page" dimension to capture the domain as a part of url

add it to referral exclusion list

send the data from both sites to same GA property.

by default Page : The pages visited, listed by URI. The URI is the portion of a page's URL following the domain name; for example, the URI portion of www.example.com/contact.html is /contact.html.

You need to update "page" to capture like: www.example.com/contact.html
