Tracking Fragment URLs

Hi All,

I don't know how to track fragment URL's like http://cp.crownit.in/#/473686/68

Under GA, only home page URL seems to be visible, no urls for internal pages containing the has string.

GA.jpg
As you can see, URL above contains a hash symbol and GA use to to ignore the remaining part after hash. I've followed an online article and that seems to do exactly as I want but it's still not working

https://www.simoahava.com/gtm-tips/track-url-fragments-as-pageviews/

Can anybody suggest what I might doing wrong or any better ways to implement this and get the Fragment URL's tracked.

Hi,

How did you add the tracking tag in GTM? Please make sure it's added like in the article below:

https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6163791?hl=en

And make sure to add step 3 from Simo's article.

Hi,

I've implemented Simo's solution on multiple sites and it works perfectly. The problem is that your Google Analytics tracking tag is added as a javascript snippet, it is not fired through GTM. Make sure that you remove the tracking snippet from the site and configure an Universal Analytics tag in GTM as it's described in step 3 in the article you linked. Hope this helps, let me know if you have questions.

Hey Arnold,

Much thanks for your valuable suggestion.

I've removed the code snippet from the website and now only GTM tag exists, though it seems the code is still not working. GA still showing home page views as visits, not from the particular fragment URLs (I'm checking Real Time Traffic though)
