I'm getting a tracking code mismatch error on my google analytics. i have two sub domains which are monitored by the same account. each sub domain has their property configured correctly and i cannot find any incorrect configuration from my side. i'm able to track both the sites and all seems to be working fine. but i'm still getting the error and i'm only getting the error in one site. please help.

Just check the website urls given in property settings, If they are right you can ignore this error.

After generating google analytics data without issue for the last year, our analytics account received the following 2 notifications on Nov 22, 2017:

1). Tracking Code Mismatch - The default URL http://www.xxxx.com, for property UA-7******6-1 has no tracking code for this property, although it does have tracking codes for other properties: UA-4******4-1

2).  Property xxxx is not receiving hits

The notification errors have been corrected since adding the new tracking code UA-7******6-1 on Dec 1st, 2017

Google analytics has reported data for the new tracking code UA-7******6-1 over the last week, but all of my historical analytics data tied to the original tracking code UA-4******4-1 is missing for the same property.

How do I add/recover my historical analytics data for tracking code UA-4******4-1 for the same property

Please help!

I am getting the same error but the analytics dashboard is showing zero traffic so I cannot ignore the error. I have not checked it in a while so I don't know how long this has been happening. I have not changed any tracking codes or domain names.

Does anyone know what might have caused this to happen and how can I return to normal?

Thanks
