There is a subsequent timing hit following a pageview hit. This hit is indeed set by default but rarely. You can opt to push more of these hits by setting the sitespeedsamplerate: 100. The default value for each GA tracker is 1%.

Kind regards,

Zorin

P.s. this hit is visible in network requests panel and in console with ga debug extension turned on.

Thanks for your quick response but I have gone through this blog but I want
to know on how to send these in collect from javascript. Like we do in
pageview call i.e. ga("send", "pageview");

nothing needs to be sent, it is tracked out of the box.

if you want to track some metric, you can send it as custom metric.

Can you please explain how it is tracked without implementing as I am not able to see data related to it on GA. Whether it will be collected in pageview call or it will be collected in event call or something else.

Hey Zorin,

Thanks for your previous answer it helped me alot

I have one more requirement in which I need to override few values of timing call like PLT and PDT. So is there a way by which we can override these values before the call get triggered.

Thanks.
