TRACKING CODE

I'm very new to Google Analytics, and need a way to implement my tracking code into my website.

Every solution I have found pertains to word press websites, however mine is just  regular HTML.

What would be a good program for inserting the tracking code into my HTML?

Hi @Jack D,

Google Analytics tracking snippet(or you can use Google Tag Manager) has to be placed in all pages that you want to track. If you have plain HTML based website, you should put your tracking snippet manually. Which backend technology are you using on your website?

Güney

The Website is developed using PHP, XHTML, CSS and some Java script. I'm using notepad++ to insert the tracking code but can't seem to get it to work.
