Site Search Terms No Query String

Hi All

I am looking to set up site search (within GA) on my site.

The problem I have is that my search results pages do not contain a Query parameter but read like a category page. eg

/search-results/googleanalytics/1/

where googleanalytics is the search term

and 1 is the page number

Is there any way I can set this up?

Many Thanks

Hi Sophie,

You can either modify your code so the search term query string is appended to the end of the URL or you can send a virtual page view to Google Analytics that contains the query string. Please check out this document: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1012264?hl=en#Post
Hope this helps.
