Sessions from display advertising not being recorded

We have several display advertising campaigns running for our client that are registering clicks recorded on DfP.

These are tracked via UTMs to Google Analytics.

However, the quantity of sessions recorded for each publisher/source is consistently lower (sometimes by around 70-80%) than the amount of clicks registered.

Does anyone know why this could be and how we can fix this?
