Hi, as suspected - you have 2 tracking code instances - where one is classic syntax and the other is universal. I would advise to remove the classic one.

In your case I would remove this part of the code:

<script type="text/javascript">
        var _gaq = _gaq || [];
        _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-XXXXXX-1']);
        _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);
        (function() {
          var ga = document.createElement('script');
          ga.type = 'text/javascript';
          ga.async = true;
          ga.src=(document.location.protocol == 'https:' ?
                    'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';
          var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];
          s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
        })();
      </script>

Hope this helps!

Hi, this usually happens when you have 2 instances of tracking code using the same tracking ID present on the site. Using the google Chrome dev tools you can try and find if this is the case. For more detailed answer your website URL may be required.

As a side question what is your bounce rate?

Kind regards,

Hi @Norbert Z
Your site has the tracking code installed twice.. once using the Monster Insights plugin and another copy of the code in what appears to possibly be either the active theme's footer.php file or if the theme provides an admin option for adding scripts to the footer of the site.
I would keep the tracking installed with the plugin.. it offers some useful configuration options and has it installed in the correct place within your site (before the closing </head> tag)
