Hey,

just as you said. You did put your GA Code into the GTM and hardcoded analytics into your site. You have to only implement it via GTM or hardcoded.

Would recommend just removing it from your code and only use GTM.

best regards

Quang I would suggest following Marcs recommendation. Use GTM to implement analytics. One it is much easier to manage and change and two when you need to add new tags you won't have to add new code directly to your site and will be able to test everything before going live.

I was also facing the similar issue on my blog www.riseofmachine.com

After checking the Source code , it is found that GTM code was mentioned twice as I added another GTM plugin . After deactivating the GTM plugin, it works fine now.

Hey,

if you take a look at your source code you can see that you hardcoded the analytics pageview code twice. Thats why you have double Pageviews.

On top of that you have two GTM Scripts loading one probably belongs to Google Optimize?

Would recommend looking up on the Google Help for using optimize with GTM. There is no need to have 2 Containers running. Also remove your hardcoded Analytics Scripts and move that to GTM.

Hi Marc,

Developers removed this problem but there is another one. In Google Tag manager when I click on Google Tag Assistant, I see Google Analytics and UA number which is different from UA number in Google Analytics.

Would you mind explaining to me what is the problem and how to fix it?

Kind regards,

Marija

Hey,

right now there is still a hardcoded Google Analytics Code wich is sending a Pageview to UA-******79-1.

Also you have the Tag Manager with the ID ending on PTP.

So where is the wrong ID here?

Your GTM seems to have a Problem loading up. Seems like you haven't published it yet?

Best regards
