Referral Exclusion Not Working. Need Help.

Hi I have added a subdomain under referral exclusion list, but somehow it's not working. All the traffic from that subdomain is showing under referral ttraffic. I want all traffic under organic traffic. 


Is there anything i am missing or wrong implemented? Both main domain and subdomain have same analytic code.

Hey Anil,

If you are using the same version of the GATC on both and either using the proper domain name declaration for legacy code or auto for the cookie domain if using UA, then you should not need the referral exclusion. What you are seeing is an artifact of either improper coding or a broken process as the user traverses from the main to the sub or the other way. Your coding is not consistent (there are two different trackers, one legacy on the main domain) and you have two versions of the GATC on the subdomain.

Start by cleaning that up.
