Randomly generated Unique ID for Enhanced Link attribution

Enhanced link attribution requires that each element on the page have a unique id.

Does the attribution still work if the unique id is randomly generated and changes with every deploy?

For example a link has id="1234" now and the same link has id="5678" tomorrow and id="9876" the day after?

Hi Praveen,

this can lead to some issue but using the link attribution plugin also means GA tries to identify links with a combination of attributes, mouse position, and more.
In my experience, GA has always been able to identify links properly.
