Hi all.

I am not sure where to post this doubt. But I am facing a problem a cannot solve and I am a bit lost.
I am using RGoogleAnalytics in order to retrieve data from Analytics.
When I try to apply the following filter, I get no results from the query
gaSmiley TongueagePath=~/(a|b|c|d)/../[^/]+/[^/]*$',
However if I use the exact same filter in Analytics query explorer I get results. Meaning that the regular expression is ok.
I know that the problem is coming with some of the special characters. (  ^  or [] ) .
I really appreciate if someone can helps.

The expression needs to be URL encoded. I am, not sure how RGA works - whether you need to do that yourself or if the library does it for you. [this is an educated guess]
