Possible to use Content Experiments in conjunction with Google Tag Manager

Hello, I am trying to set up a Google Content Experiment on two test pages, however the Google Analytics tracking code for both pages is implemented via Google Tag Manager. Is Tag Manager not compatible with Content Experiments? I receive the following errors if I validate the pages: Google Analytics web-property ID not recognized. However if I remove the link to the Tag Manager script and use the script provided via the Analytics dashboard, then the pages are validated. I am not sure how to resolve this issue, must one set up AB tests via Google Tag Manager instead? Please advise, thank you

Hi Scott,

I have moved on to Optimizely and Optimize for experiments but I believe as long as you have the control script on your A page you can still deploy even with the warning.  It's also usually best to deploy the control script directly in the code.

Best,
