Pageview Sends

Hello! We recently completely redesigned our web sites. I noticed in GA that traffic had dropped dramatically. In looking at the previous version of the website in, I noticed that the developer had the GA script with three unique instances of:  ga('send', 'pageview');. He had it set up to send to the same UA number as well. I believe this was bloating the traffic number erroneously, but I wanted to verify. Shouldn't each page only have one instance of:  ga('send', 'pageview');

Hi, Scully Resident S,

That's very true, you should normally just have one pageview sent per page (ie. one instance of ga('send', 'pageview')). Reducing it back down to just one pageview would certainly normalise your traffic.

Hope this helps.
