I set up Google Analytics at with Google Tag Manager.

For some reason, I do not see any real time visitors in Google Analytics when I am at

With Google Tag Assistant I got 2 errors.

1. Using the correct account ID - This is good.

2. Code placement

Not sure if this is correct. The code that goes in the head section in not placed on the top of the head tag. Could this be the reason why Analytics is not receiving data?

If not, what areas to look into to fix this?

Thank you

Google Tag Assistant detects the newer GTM account IDs as invalid because there are more than 6 characters after GTM-. Same goes for the message about the code found outside the body tag, your implementation is correct based on the latest recommendation but Tag Assistant has not been updated yet.

The problem is that you don't have a Google Analytics tracking tag in your GTM container. Please check the article below about adding GA tracking through GTM:

Hope this helps, let me know if you have questions.
