We have been developing a new website and will be setting it live tommorrow.

- old site was a wordpress site and hosted on Combell

- new site is developed in and will be hosted on

- domain name will be kept the same as for the old site.

Can we just copy the same google analytics code on our new site ? Or should we do something else ?
the structure of the site (subpages ... ) will be different.

thanks a lot for your help!

Yes, you just need to install the tracking code on the new site, make sure it is the Universal Analytics code from GA Admin -> Property -> Tracking Info -> Tracking code. The code will track the new structure, if you have filters or goals based on the old structure, you need to update them. Let me know if you have more questions.
