I have heard about a method to split Google Tag Manager code. First part is right after body and second in the footer. By this, specialists can achieve better Google page speed score with no functionality limitations. However, I cannot find this on Google.

that's because there is no evidence to support a performance gain by splitting GTM code.

What you can do however is define your datalayer in the HEAD tag for example, and the GTM snippet itself at the beginning or END of the BODY tag.
