Blog: www.https://cwm030.blogspot.com/

For some reason I have inserted the analytics code at the top of my blog. But I am still not getting any hits when I open my blog on the computer or on my phone. I don't understand why its not working? I installed the code this morning.

Just a minute ago I was seeing 1 user.. But now I am only seeing 0... And thats with my phone's browser open and my computer's browser.. And no not in a private tab either.

How do I delete the other accounts except the one highlighted? I hit MOVE TO TRASH but they're still there

Thanks,

Chris.

Google Analytics not working?

Hi @CWM030 :-)

Blogger has its own method of integration for the tracking code

it's available in the Blogger Settings > Other at the bottom of the page.

It just needs the tracking ID added to the provided field.

Hits from a mobile will not always show in real time (though they do get reported in the standard reports as normal)
This is due to mobiles batching hits to conserve battery power, the hits do not always get sent at the time they occur.

If you are on your site and have been on the same page and inactive, you will drop off the real time active user list after 5-10mins of inactivity eg no further pageviews etc.

It can take 24-48hrs for data to start showing in the standard reports.

It would also be better advised to use bloggers own method of integrating the tracking,

as it ensures it gets added correctly to mobile templates etc too. and will work with all

their templates as expected.

Thanks
Bronwyn
