Google Analytics not tracking past #

The company's URL that I am trying to track contains #. The account is tracking all of the movement in the site as the main landing page URL and not any traffic traveling to other URLs passed the #.

The main domain is tracking this information correctly, showing all of the movement passed the # . However, the cross-domains are only showing the main landing page.

I have tried this implementation in tag manager: https://www.nichemarket.co.za/blog/track-anchor-tags-urls/

to no avail. Any ideas?

Thank you!

Hi, Miranda,

Are you using GTM for your tracking, or just straight-up GA?

Hi Nicky,

I am using GTM. I actually got it to work by triggering on the history change. Thanks for your response!
