Google Analytics during Staging
We currently have a client whose website is in staging. Therefore the domain isn't the final URL the client will have. Should I wait to install Google Analytics and GTM until the final URL is live?

It is easier to test a configuration than create everything from scratch in GTM, so you will likely get up and running faster.
I have a suggestion:
Install GTM, then use GTM to create all of the GA tags for pageviews and events but use a constant variable to push all of the content to a staging property UA number. When the production site launches all you will have to do is swap the UA number in the constant variable and you are good to go (pending a positive QA session).
