Google Analytics Not Working in Chrome

Hi,

We have a client website where GA classic code has been implemented. Whenever a visitor enters the site, the GA code does not trigger the first time. This is in specific for Chrome browser and works fine in Firefox. However on the subsequent clicks or navigation to other pages triggers the code.

What could be causing this issue? I have checked the GA code for any errors, but there are none.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Thanks,

Mukesh

Hi Mukesh,

You'll need to troubleshoot. Is it only one page or all pages? Are you testing in incognito?

Try tag assistant to get you started:

If all else fails, upgrade to Universal. Smiley Happy

Thanks for replying Theo Smiley Happy

The issue is for any page from any channel. It happens when a new visitor enters the site using chrome. Will try the Tag Assistant as well.

Hello.
In custom HTML, What if I wrote a asynchronous code directly.
Then, try the running order of the tag in the first.
Thank you for your attention.
