GA tracking webpages by /page-name/domain.com

Hi Guys,

I was recently checking Landing/Exit Page & Real Time report of an WordPress website and found that GA was tracking pages by /page-name/domain.com.

Example:

Domain name: example.com

Folder: abcd

GA tracking should have been: /abcd/

Current GA tracking: /abcd/example.com

The universal GA script has been put right after <head> tag and GWM is showing correct internal links. However in GA, clicking on the pages return 404 page. Is the issue related to WordPress or some property settings?

Thanks in advance for help.

Manas

Check the filters in your GA view. You might have a hostname advanced filter, which looks like incorrectly configured.

@Syed H, thanks for your reply. However no filters have been created for the property yet. Is there anything else that can trigger such data value in GA?
