GA tagging of the Homepage

Hi,

I'm trying to tag my homepage (all the other pages are already well tagged).

I did several set up for my homepage :

http://www.gentisrecruitment.com

When I set the trigger page URL equals http://www.gentisrecruitment.com, it works but when I add UTM parameter, the GA tag isn't firing anymore.

Then I tried to do this set up :

Capture.PNG

And I get the same issue, firing when I use http://www.gentisrecruitment.com but NOT when I use http://www.gentisrecruitment.com/?utm_source=Mailchimp&utm_medium=Newsletter&utm_campaign=NewWebsite

How can I set it up in order for the tag to only fire on the homepage ?

Thanks,

Sébastien

Hi :-)

Is this for just normal pageview tracking? Usually for general pageview tracking and a GA tag the trigger should be set to just fire on all pages

Maybe I am misunderstanding what you are trying to setup?

Seems like you can either: 1. learn Regular Expressions (or use an online tool) 2. just have UTM=source as email, and eliminate your full URL, as you want it to fire from an email source.
