Hey together,

i really dont get what i am doing wrong. Normally there is no problem with setting up events.

I am trying to set up an noninteraction onload event for tracking impressions.

<img src="http://powerhair.ch/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/nopix.gif" onload="_gaq.push('_trackEvent', 'Measure','Scroll','Footerpix',0,true);">

As seen in powerhair.ch

Does someone have a clue?

Best,

alex

Hey Alexander, how are things?

The event code you're using is the old structure for when you have Classic Analytics code on your website.

If you're using the newest Universal Analytics grabbed directly from your GA account, the event will have a different structure, like that:

ga('send', 'event', 'Measure', 'Scroll', 'Footerpix');

 You can refer for this page for every information:

https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/events

Hope this helps.

Hey man, things are good now - thanks to you!

Thats kind of embarrassing, as i am teaching everybody to look twice if they use their stuff for classic or universal.

Best,
alex

Hey man, no worries.

This is something that Google didn't spread, and most of people just get it when trying to create an Event. I've been through the same Smiley Happy

Hope this works.
