Cross-domain tracking, changing snippet, losing old data?

Hi guys,

A bit long winded question.

We want to implement cross-domain tracking. I know we need to set up new property and apply the snippet from that to all of our domains. I am not a programmer so basically I just wanted to check if this is additional snippet or a replacement of original and if it would lead to any loss of old data from old properties. I am making a report and I do not want to suggest something that would lose us old data.

Thanks.

Hi,

You are not going to lose any historical data from the old properties.

Let me know if you have more questions.
