Controller error with ga.js

Hi! I've been getting a lot of errors of the following type with my current implementation of the ga.js script "System.Web.HttpException: The controller for path '/ga362844.js' could not be found or it does not implement IController.". After looking around it seems that a 302 redirect is happening in my site, but I'm not sure it should be doing this (when my page loads, a gaxxxx.js file is loaded that corresponds to https://mysite.com/gaxxxx.js, which might be causing the redirections after the file times out maybe? (Since after a while passed, trying to load the file will give me that same redirect error). Is this intended behaviour? Why is it happening? Any help to improving my understanding of the code is appreciated. Thanks a lot for the help

your site should use best practice of letting GA host its library file.

and try it use latest GA version of universal analytics.
