Hi,

Let's say:

gaSmiley TongueroductCategoryHierarchy  =  "TV"

gaSmiley TongueroductName = "LG Smart TV"

I want a report that shows the following:

Category   |  Product           | gaSmiley TongueroductAddsToCart  |  Purchases | Rev
TV              |  LG Smart TV    |             50                         |        10          | $1000

But instead I get this:

Category   |  Product           | gaSmiley TongueroductAddsToCart  |  Purchases | Rev
TV              |  LG Smart TV    |             50                         |        0          |    0

(not set)     |  LG Smart TV    |             50                         |        10          | $1000

Is there a way I can report on Revenue and Product Category data together?

Thanks,

Sam

Hi Sam,

There is nothing distinguishing the hierarchy of the product name to the category. Are you currently using the enhanced Ecommerce array? (developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/enhanced-ecommerce)

Here is an example of how you could possibly solve this issue with ee.

ga('ec:addProduct', {

'id': '###',   ///Name or id is required

'name': 'LG Smart TV',

'category': 'TV',

'brand': 'LG',
});
