CID (Client ID) - The same location for all purchases

Good Morning! Smiley Happy
I am using the Measurement Protocol to track the purchases.
In the parameter CID (Customer ID) I am sending the ID from the Analytics Cookie but it is not working Smiley Sad For example: Analytics tells me that all purchases come from the same location, which is where the server is located.
How can I solve that?
Thank you!

Hi Carme,

Are you seeing proper attribution for Source/Medium? If you use a date range before your MP hit happened (assuming the visitor came to the site first, then transacted offline) do you see proper geo location?

You can also send IP information in your MP hit but even if you do, GA uses more cues (for mobile) to determine geo location that I suspect you would not see the same level of accuracy.

the location override is expected, unfortunately. What you can do as Theo mentioned is to send additional info such as IP address with an &uip parameter or better yet send the &geoid parameter which explicitly sets the location - more info here and this will probably mean that the information you collect and store will need to widened.

Hope it helps.

Kind regards,
