Analytics is showing REFERRAL from root domain to Storefront instead of Origin.

We started off with our primary website (www.mydomain.com) that is hosted on Server A. This site has our landing pages for AdWords with dozens of links to our storefront...

We recently added a Wordpress WooCommerce site (www.mydomain.com/store/) that is hosted on Server B.

We installed the tracking code for analytics on both sites; however, all traffic that hits the Storefront (www.mydomain.com/store/is shown as a referral from our primary domain (www.mydomain.com)

Obviously I am missing something in the code that is preventing the handoff, any help is appreciated.

Hi Ryan,

Could you share your website's URL?
Then it's a bit easier to figure out what might be wrong.

Thanks,
Taavi

Hi Ryan,

Did you add www.mydomain.com in 'Referral Exclusion List' in GA property associated with www.mydomain.com/store/ ?

Sounds like different code versions....
