zero bounce rate, tracking code trouble shooting

I am working a site hurleywrite.com that is having some tracking issues.
I have read that having multiple tracking codes can cause these kinds of issues.
Can someone help me locate where the problem is coming from?

Hi Kris,

Since you are using Tag Manager I cannot see what events are firing. Just make sure you are not firing and onload events as this can sometimes be considered an action and lead to 0% bounce rate. See point 4 here : https://viget.com/advance/15-ways-your-google-analytics-might-be-broken-part-1

This is not a duplicate tracking code issue as only one tracking code is firing.

Would the Bing PPC Conversion Tag cause this issue?

Hi Kris -

I think I found your problem. Upon loading the homepage, there are 3 events firing without me event clicking on anything. Those events are as follows:

Event Category: Social Media Link
Event Action: Click
Event Label: Facebook Page

There is a similar one, but for Twitter. Then there is another event called Links (Event Category).

With these events firing upon page load, this will affect your bounce rate. My suggestion to either review the setup of these events or if you want to keep them there, use non-interaction events.

Cheers,
Tiaan
