wrong source code

Hi,

I have not logged into Analytics for 6 months and today I have it is not showing any of our historical date of recent activity.

I have noticed that the source code listed on our account is different to the one we have on our website which tracks all the activity which explains why there is no data there.

My question is How do I change the code to match the one of the website?

Thanks
Lorna

Hi Lorna,

You cannot change the Property ID in Google Analytics, you can only change the code on your website to match the code in GA.

If you want to gain access to the account that has the property with the historical data check out this thread:

Hope this helps.
