I am not even sure how to search for this topic, I think I know how to set it up, but i'm not sure.

Situation:

We have sales affiliates and we want them to be able to see their customers that come to our website.

Is this a solution:

We setup a view (Affiliate 1) and setup a landing page that looks like www.companywebsite.com/affiliate/1/  and use that as a filter so that only data from that hostname gets shown.

Will this work?  If not what should I be doing?

Hi Jonathan,

Yes it will work. Create a view for each affiliate and set up a filter. I'm sharing a thread in which you will find how to set up filter in your case.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Just note that as you add more affiliates, this setup will become untenable.

You will be better off creating custom reports/dashboard with segmentation related to said affiliate instead of using one view per affiliate.
