"You do not have access to Analytics" for Customer's GA Account[ Edited ]

An administrator of a GA account for a site that I do dev work for granted me edit access to their account, using my business email (which happens to be a Google Apps for business domain). I received the email from Google saying that I had been invited to edit. When I go to http://www.google.com/analytics/ (as linked in the email) and attempt to sign in, however, I receive a message that "We are sorry, but you do not have access to Analytics. Please contact your domain administrator for access."
I assume this may have something to do with the fact that our Google Apps doesn't include GA, but I am trying to access a different GA account, for which I have been granted access.
