I had Google Analytics data since 2005 or so.

But last year I split up views+filters to seperately view subdomain stats. It was confusing.

So.. 3 days ago, I deleted Google Analytics "views", hoping all data will merge back and view all stats of the whole domain.

But all data disappeard..

I did NOT deleted Accounts nor Properties.

I only deleted "Views"..

"Trash Can" link is DISABLED/INACTIVE.  Why is that?

FYI,

- I am using Google Apps Free Edition, btw.

- I have Google Adwords acc too.

- I have about 5 managers on this GA users list (all active staffs).

I know I have time only for 35 days. I want to restore over 10 years of data. Pls help!!

Hi :-)

You will need Edit permissions at the GA Account level in order to access the trash can and restore the View.

I suggest speaking to the GA Account Administrator and asking them to either edit your permissions or to restore the View for you.

eta..filtered data, is not recoverable. Once data is removed from a View via a filter, removing the filter from the View will not bring back the historical data that is missing.

Thanks
