"Security Problem. Please try reloading the page

I cannot access my analytics account. I get the error "Security Problem. Please try reloading the page. We cannot verify your account credentials. Please verify your account information then sign in again."

I have tried logging out of my google account and back in again but to no avail. I've also tried different browsers and even incognito mode.

I can't see of anyway to actually contact google about this.

I was getting this error, too after logging into GA...but then I saw other folks say they fixed it JUST by going here:

https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/

And it worked...for some reason after log in, it was appending crap to the URL that was causing the problem.

I seem to be good now.   Hope this helps others!

Hey Carl,

Please try the following:

1) Log out -> Clear Cache & Cookies -> Log Back In and attempt to log into Anlytics.

If this fails try the following:

2) Log in with a "@gmail.com" account and not a "@YourDomainName.com" - I've ready cases where this will fix the issue.

Let me know if I've solved your issue or if it still persists,

- Josh

Same in all browsers, but I can log in via the app on my phone via 4g.

IP issue?

Hi @Carl Michael,

It does appear to be an IP related issue.

Have you tried to use a proxy address to access, which would verify this?

Kind Regards,

James

No not tried a proxy yet, I don't think I'm not going to go that far. I shouldn't have to really.

Is there any way to contact Google? I've not found one at least where Analytics are concerned.

I can access it on my mobile, that will do in the meantime.

Same problem here and I tried all the methods - except for Proxy - too, but nothing as changed.
Instead I can access it from mobile.
Any update then?

Same issue here...Started in Chrome, had it working in FF and now FF has the issue, so using IE; IE works for now.

Cleared all cookies, restarted browsers, tried Incognito, restarted computer, and tried from different networks (home, work, etc) and continue to have it happen.

Not great to have to worry about if you are going to be able to get your data reliably.
