Why a "Google Representative" would access and delete goals in GA?

Analytic is showing me that a "Google Representative" accessed the account and deleted 2 goals & channel setting.

How is this possible and more importantly, why a Google Rep would do such a thing..

"Google Representative" is just the username of whoever made the changes. That doesn't mean they have anything to do with Google.

Thanks Tom, but, I see all other users with their Google account emails (which we have given access) Why would I see anyone with that Alias?

Sorry @Hasan D I wasn't thinking that through clearly. The email address associated with the individual is, or at least should be, what reports in the change history. The fact that there is no email associated with this person would seem to indicate that they do have something to do with Google. Why they did it, I don't know. Maybe they saw no goal completions and deleted the goals. Maybe they thought your custom channel grouping didn't fit with "best practices". That's no excuse for making these changes without your knowledge though.

So, is there anyone at Google that you have given permission to access this account, and do you have any contact info for them? If you don't want any Google reps poking around in analytics, then de-select "Account Specialists" in the data sharing settings section of the account settings.

If you know what they have done, then you should be able to undo it. Make sure no one can do it again. Then see if you can contact whoever did it, ask them why, and then request to speak with a supervisor if you're not satisfied with the answer.

Thanks @tomhalejr

I have checked and everything is intact..

The goals and the view that were deleted are intact..

And they are active goals & view that has history too.

They might have deleted accidently and restored it..
