Hi I'm trying to add a new user to an analytics account and when doing so in the Admin section I get the message "User is already added to account" - nowhere in any of the lists does the email address appear?

are you adding the user in Account column or Property column or View column? It sounds that user is already present in the account level but not in the property or view level that you might try to add him...

Please check if the user doesn't have any second or alternative e-mail addresses connected.

I have encountered the same issue, the customer asked me to add her to Google Analytics with e-mail address: When trying to add that specific address is also got the message "User is already added to account".


After a while it became clear the user had the address mentioned above connected to a gmail address.
