Temporarily disable user accounts for audit

As part of taking ownership of an enterprise account and due to an unrelated security issue, I need to do a security/account audit of all of our Google Analytics users. Is there a way to temporarily disable account access? It seems like when I remove all access for a user account the account just disappears completely. We have 289 authorized accounts.

My current plan was just to remove permissions on all accounts and re-enable them as needed. It seems though that this blows the user account away, presumably removing any dashboards and things that a user has created.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Jason T

There is not way to completely delete users from the GA account. You can lower their administrative privileges so that you could switch a user from administrator to viewer level access.

I hope that helps!
