Hi Community!

I've been using Google Analytics (automatically attached to my BLOG) successfully and usefuly.  I and now want to extend it to identify visits etc to specific pages in my Google Sites.  I looked for a simple guide on how to do this failed to find one.... Am I missing anything?  Any suggestions? I need an "Idiots Guide" (my description) to help me through this...

NB I started to sort it but can't find my Analytics Web Property ID‎  (don't even know what one is)

Hi John :-)
A Property ID is also known as a Tracking ID. You can find this number on the Property Setting page which you can access via logging into Google Analytics and clicking the Admin tab

On the Admin page you will see 3 columns Account / Property / View

Select the relevant Account and Property and then in the middle column below the drop down select Property Settings and there at the top you can find the UA# which is the tracking id/property id

Hi John,

Here is a good place to start: https://analyticsacademy.withgoogle.com/course/1

It includes a section on property ID and account management: https://analyticsacademy.withgoogle.com/course/1/unit/4/lesson/1
