Hi,

just enter

www.xyzabc.com/

instead of

www.xyzabc.com/?a=b

Best Regards,
GA Guru.

Hello GA Guru,

Well, your solution is not working. I have entered the url without the query but I don't get any stats from the test visits I made. Here are the specifics:

I am trying to get stats from an archived campaign on Mailchimp. The archived campaign is stored here:
http://us8.campaign-archive1.com/?u=b4485e9065164836996183756&id=dbd20adc6a

On Mailchimp, after logging in my account, I have entered the GA tracking ID in Lists>MyList(of recipients)>Settings>Google Analytics on archive and list pages
(Every campaign you send gets a hosted archive version. If you use Google Analytics, track visitors to archives, signup, and profile pages. You'll see your MailChimp traffic stats in Google Analytics.).

When setting up my GA account, I then entered the above URL without the query. But all counters in my GA account are staying at 0 when I know people have visited this page:
http://us8.campaign-archive1.com/?u=b4485e9065164836996183756&id=dbd20adc6a

Thanks anyway for your time and attention.
Sante M.

Hi,

Go to GA Admin, check under view settings for : "Strip query parameters out of URL"

You might have ticked it.

Best Regards,
GA Guru.

Dear GA Guru, Here is a screenshot of the View Settings Page: The URL is: us8.campaign-archive1.com/ and the "Exclude URL Query Parameters" field is empty. Thanks. Santé M. [image: Inline image 1]

Hi, i am using a URL that includes a query string -  http://bgvconfirmations.com/tour-scheduler/?lastname=[LASTNAME]&conf=[PROSPECTID]&utm_source=con... and it does not seem to be tracking in GA, any thoughts as to why?
