I don't know where to turn so I begin here...

Our client has the main domain baramineraler.se and if you enter their (other) domain baraprefab.se you get redirected to http://www.baramineraler.se/sv/tegelinspiration

Is it possible in Google Analytics to see how many visitors that has entered their site by baraprefab.se? We have only added baramineraler.se in Google Analytics.

Hi @Sven Åke P

The redirect from baraprefab.se is a so-called 301-redirect, so it will not appear as a referral in Google Analytics since 301-redirects (usually) carries through the original referrer (in this case, the referrer that the user arrived at baraprefab.se with).

You could use UTM-parameters and make the redirect direct to http://www.baramineraler.se/sv/tegelinspiration?utm_source=bareprefab.se&utm_source=referral&utm_cam.... But then you would override the original referrer and not be able to see how people arrive at bareprefab.se in the first place.

Another approach would be to simply make the redirect direct to http://www.baramineraler.se/sv/tegelinspiration?from=baraprefab.se. Then you can use the Landing Pages report to see how many entrances you have on the /sv/tegelinspiration?from=baraprefab.se URL and you would keep the original referrer intact.
