No data in analytics

Hi guys, newbie here.

I set up an analytics page for my new website and it was working fine for a week or so. Then I requested to change the domain name of my site through the page provider and the change was made. So I then set up a new 'account' with my the new website domain name and trashed the old one. The new one hasn't recorded any data for the last week? Why would this be?

I have checked for few pages and tracking is working fine.(using google tag assistant). Real time data showing in GA?

I'm not sure. There is nothing happening in real-time GA and everything is at 0.

It's like my GA is still synced up to my old webpage and is not showing anything from the new url that I connected it with. The little info box in the top right is showing the correct web link and everything so I'm confused. I can't go from getting 60+ sessions in a week to 0 in almost the same amount of time now.

I just realised my url was entered wrong. It was a http:// instead of a https://

How do I delete the old url? I have no idea how I did it the first time.

I'm hoping this is what the problem was and why it wasnt reading anything?

Protocol (http:// or https://) is not an issue.

Your site has GA tracking, all right. If it's not showing data in your account, you may have view configuration issues.

Hi,
check this article @ https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/3467852?hl=en but I'm not very sure that is the issue. Go ahead make changes and check in real time and let us know whether real time data is showing or not.

thanks
