Need to get access to my account

I worked with a company in the past to develop my website that is no longer in existence.  I'm now working with an SEO org that would like to use the analytic history to help gauge my new campaign success.   They used Google Tag Assistant to identify two google analytic accounts associated with my site, but neither ties to my google log on.  Is there a way to trace back a google analytic account from the UA #?

Hi Gina :-)

If the accounts were created by the original web dev company, while the tracking code might still be on the website, the accounts may no longer be in existance. Also tracking code on a site does not mean automatic ownership of the associated GA Account.

You could try to recover the account, there is a comprehensive post by Niall in the following thread on how to go about doing this (its the one marked as best answer)
