Need to gain access to Google Analytics account – don't know associated email address

Ok, I have read a lot of information in the forums and have not gotten far.

I have a new-ish Google Business account. Last year, about this time I switched everything from Wordpress over to Squarespace. I also move right after the switch which meant I had to go through and redo my website via tags and locations settings. Additionally, this means I have not been into my GA site for a while (year and a half). I now cannot gain access to my account with any known email. I have also deleted the emails I go have that could possibly be associated. When I try to log in or sign up for a new account, with my new business profile, I am given the following screens:GA2.JPG

GA3.JPG

I do have my original UA number. I would love to have my data from this past year, as I have made many improvements to my SEO throughout the year. So is there a way to recover my old information and update my email addresses only knowing the UA number?

If I cannot do this, how do I set up a new account, with the new business profile, when the above is all I get. This happens in an incognito window and a regular window.

Finally, why is there no phone support for this?! Smiley Sad

Hi @Nicole B :-)
Sorry you are having issues accessing your account.
If you are unable to remember/access the email address the analytics account was originally created with,

you may want to try to recover the account, there is a comprehensive post by Niall in the following thread on how to go about doing this (its the one marked as best answer)

If you dont have an adwords account already, you will need to create one to access the support options. Its free to create one and does not need to be setup etc. You will need to be logged into it when you contact support.

@Bronwyn V, I had found and tried @NiallMc's instructions, which are from 2014 and likely outdated, multiple times to no avail. I set up an ads account with my new information and cannot go back to any other account to add the new email, because the username already exists. I can't create a new google analytics account, again because my username already exists or I get the same screens as I originally attached.

I am honestly a bit frustrated with this entire thing. I've gone in circles for hours! I have searched for the Online Specialist without any luck. I have also spoken on the phone with the people at Google and was told there is no phone support for this issue. Needless to say, I am completely lost, and would really enjoy to have this solved!

Do you know of any other way to accomplish these tasks?

Hi @Nicole B
I do understand your frustration with this, i have gone thru it myself in the past with my own accounts.

I don't work for Google, I volunteer my time here on the community helping ppl when able to.

Unfortunately google analytics standard (free version) is not one of the products included in/covered by the google apps service level agreement. Being free, support options for it are very limited.

To access an online specialist, you need an adwords account that you can log into so you can access the adwords support options. I have usually found using the email support option the most helpful when it comes to analytics account access issues. The adwords account does not need to be using the email address that the analytics account was originally created with.

Alternatively you may opt to contact a google certified partner company, however they do not give free support.

Have you logged out of the current organizational account, cleared cookies and cache and logged back into google using (I would copy and paste it to prevent errors) nbcreative%nicoleinbold@gtempaccount.com with your current password for your organizational account.
You wont be able to rename it with the name that it had, as you said, it already exists and is in conflict with the email being used for google apps.
