My Google analytics not working

I've had Google Analytics set up for a number of months and when I've logged in today all of my accounts have disappeared - apart from one.

I don't have any other accounts associated with analytics. Someone else added me onto analytics and they've left the company. If their email address has been deleted would this affect my access?

One of the websites is fikaapps.com

I've checked and the code still seems to be there. Would appreciate any help with this one.

Hi Helen,

If your initial admin has left there's a good chance you've been cut off from the account. Not worry though! You can reconnect to your Analytics account by doing the following steps:

Prove site ownership

  1. Create an analytics.txt file with the following information:

    GooGhywoiu9839t543j0s7543uw1 - pls add {INSERT EMAIL ADDRESS} to GA account {INSERT UA-ID} with ‘Manage Users and Edit’ permissions - date {INSERT DATE}.
  2. Add the analytics.txt file to the top-level domain, e.g., example.com/analytics.txt

If the URL of the site that is sending data to Analytics is a subdomain, then you can upload analytics.txt to either the subdomain or the top-level domain, for example:

    sales.example.com/analytics.txt or example.com/analytics.txt
  3. Contact Google Support - https://support.google.com/analytics/contact/adminleft_ga

That should fix your problem, let me know how it goes!
