Multiple Google Analytics Accounts Per Business?

Hello,

Is a business allowed to use Google Analytics in the following way:

1) create an analytics account and web property for Site A

and

2) create a completely separate analytics account for Site A (some sub-domain or separate "app" within A)

and
3) create a third analytics account used for a testing environment which can stand in for the above mentioned accounts in that testing environment.

I have read that there is a "one business - one account" policy enforced for Adwords. The above idea does not use Adwords, and only uses Google Analytics and the Core Reporting API.

Does anything exist for Google Analytics that restricts a business to a maximum number of separate Accounts?

Any clarification is appreciated.

Thank you very much.

Hi Will, there is no such limitation for Google Analytics (you do have the max number of GA accounts associated with an email address which is currently set at 100).

Kind regards,
