Moving properties within different Google user and Analytics accounts
I've got three web properties under my account (76144XXX-1, -2, etc) and as I am trying to grant permission for them to see their own property(76144XXX-2), it looks like I cannot -- only grant them access to all the properties under my account? I am seeing this incorrectly? Apparently I simply set up the separate properties incorrectly in the beginning.
If I make a new 'account' -- can i then take the -1 or -2 property and transfer it to that new account?
Re: Moving properties within different Google user and Analytics accounts
Unfortunately individual properties cannot be transferred in/out of different analytics accounts.
To give them access to their property only, when you go to the Admin page in analytics and select the applicable Account in the first column,
and Property from the drop down in the middle column, then go to User Management in the middle column and add them as Users to that Property
If you add them at the Property level not Account level then they will only have access to the reports for that property
More info on the actual permissions can be found here:
