Hi,

After a company split we want to move a property from the old account (which have a lot of properties) to a new account owned by the new company. Is this possible? Our account have more than 6 years of statistics, and that's why there isn't an option to start logging from scratch.

Best regards,

Amund

Hello @Amund_E,

Unfortunately, you cannot switch a property from one Google Analytics account to another, especially with the history of another Google Analytic Account.

You can reach out to Google support to see if they can do something on the backend but I highly doubt it. #1-866-246-6453 monday-friday 9am-8pm EST.

Let me know if that helps!

Nick

Hi Amund,
It is possible to transfer Google Analytics accounts from one user account to another. Please check below post

http://otherchin.com/blog/2013/03/how-to-transfer-google-analytics-account-without-losing-data/ (though it is old post some tab position may be changed)

IMO It would be best solution in your case .

Thanks
